Dr Sovan Dey is a Medical graduate of Manipal Medical College, Nepal graduating in 2002. worked in home town Dhaka in General Surgery under Red Cross Society and continued General Practice before moving to Melbourne in 2007 to complete Masters in Public Health. Sovan Gained Fellowship in General Practice (FRACGP), and been selected as clinical examiner (OSCE) for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) specialist examination.
Sovan has completed advance certificate training in skin cancer Medicine and Surgery and Dermoscopy. Special interest area are skin cancer, cosmetics, PRP injection. He has also completed an Accredited Health Professional (AHP) under Australian National Standard for Rail Safety Workers, approved Medical Practitioner (AMP) for Occupational health surveillance, Designated Aviation Medical examiner (DAME), Dive medical (South Pacific Underwater Medicine Society (SPUMS), UK Oil and Gas medical (OGUK) (UKOOA), Medical Review Officer (MRO) (for Drug and Alcohol), Per-employment medicals, work cover injury management. Sovan is currently pursuing additional specialist fellowship training in Occupational Medicine.
Outside of work, he enjoys flying as a pilot, sports, traveling and music.
