Dr Deepa obtained her fellowship in General Practice in 2017 after training as a GP registrar with General Practice Training Queensland. Prior to joining general practice she worked as a resident at the QEII Hospital, Mater Hospital and Royal Children’s Hospital. Dr Deepa grew up in India and obtained her medical degree (MBBS) there. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice and has special interests in women’s and children’s health (she is the mother of two beautiful and boisterous boys) where she has obtained a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney. In her spare time Deepa's interests include poetry and painting.
