Dr Farrah Deeba graduated in medicine in Pakistan in 1999. Following her intern and resident years in Pakistan she worked in the UK for 2 years pursuing her interest practicing exclusively in obstetrics and gynaecology. Subsequently, Dr Deeba worked in the primary care setting in Malaysia for 5 years. Dr Deeba moved to Western Australia in 2012. Dr Deeba has done some strenuous work over many years in rural WA working at the Geraldton Regional Hospital in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and oncology/chemotherapy unit. This wide experience both overseas and in Geraldton allowed her to move into General Practice in Geraldton for three years, undertake her studies leading to her post graduate Fellowship with The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and gain valuable rural GP experience. Dr Deeba gained Fellowship with RACGP in 2019 after moving to Perth to continue working in General Practice. In parallel with starting her practice at WMC in October 2020, Dr Deeba brings a broad range of family medicine experience to our community.
Dr Deeba’s interests include: Womens’ Health, Mental Health, Pain management , Chronic Disease Management, Skin Cancer Checks, and Weight Management.
Dr Deeba’s out of work interest are reading and family. She lives locally with her 3 children and her husband who also works as a GP.
