Dr Bhargavan completed his degree at Russian State Medical University, Moscow in 1998- obtained his MD. He then worked as an intern in India for a year and is registered with the Medical Council of India. He then went to England for postgraduate studies, training extensively in all aspects of general medicine- cardiology/ respiratory medicine/nephrology/ gastroenterology and geriatric medicine. He also worked as a registrar in A&E.
Changed career and worked as a GP since 2006 obtaining his MRCGP in 2008. He then worked as a Lead GP in a practice until he moved to Australia in 2013 and obtained his FRACGP in the same year. During that period he completed the training course to be a GP trainer and was part of training future GP's. After moving to Australia Dr Bhargavan has worked as a GP in Perth.
He has special interest in all aspects of General Medicine- Cardiology/Diabetes/ Gastroenterology/Geriatrics/Respiratory Medicine. Dr Bhargavan is an experienced Occupational Health/ Worker's Compensation doctor.
Dr Bhargavan is married with three children. He is an avid supporter of Chelsea football club. In his free time he plays Tennis and badminton and spends time with his young family.
