General Practitioner, Female
I grew up in India and graduated medical school in 1973. I continued with my studies by completing a postgraduate in Obstetrics & Gynecology. I moved to Australia in 1980 after getting married and we lived in Whyalla, South Australia for 20 yrs. My husband was a GP there whilst I enjoyed working there as a both GP and doing deliveries with emergency work. Even though I enjoyed being in Whyalla, we moved to Adelaide in 2002 for the benefit of our son’s education. I still have a keen interest in women’s health and paediatrics although I enjoy all aspects of general practice. Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, gardening and I have been learning the piano.
