She obtained MRCGP (Int.L)UK in 2010 and Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016 and attained the FPAA  National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health in 2019. She  has been working in general practice/family medicine for over 20 years in Pakistan  as well as in Saudia Arabia and relocated with her family to Tasmania, Australia in 2014. Her special interests include Women's Health, Paediatrics,  Mental Health, Chronic Disease management and Aged care.
