<p>UCMAS is a child development program based on Mental Maths and the ABACUS that boosts brain-power in children aged 4-13. Along with strengthening maths skills, the UCMAS approach promotes whole brain development and establishes foundation building blocks like memory, concentration, creativity and problem solving. These core skills inspire greater confidence and success in all subject areas and in life. The program equips them with the skills they need, to improve overall academic achievement and to confidently meet life's challenges and achieve greatness.UCMAS concept can be better understood by relating it with brain anatomy. It is generally considered that the function of the left hemisphere of our brain prevails over that of the right hemisphere. However, scientists and physiologists assert that the potential of the right hemisphere needs to be explored. It has been proven that when both hemispheres of our brain are used simultaneously, it can produce astonishing results. UCMAS is purely based on the constant mental training and practical techniques such as ABACUS & others to mention. These techniques work as stimulators for both hemispheres.During the course, the child progresses in small steps & the program involves kids learning new & interesting techniques rather than parroting techniques based upon repetition which make them dull & restrain them from exploring.
