We have easy free parking available directly outside our premises. At Cannon Hill Smiles we also have a HICAPS facility that allows patients to immediately claim their rebate. In order to make Dentistry more accessible we have decided to provide check-up, cleans and radiographs gap free (no out of pocket costs).

Our practice is proud to offer a complete range of dental care and treatments that are designed with your welfare and expectations foremost in mind.

At Cannon Hill Smiles we strongly believe that preventative care is the foundation of a healthy mouth and as such encourage patients to come see us at least every 6 months for a comprehensive check-up, cleaning and if required fissure sealants, x-rays and fluoride treatment.

We recommend check-up appointments to detect problems before they cause much bigger issues which can be potentially painful and debilitating. For instance, precursors of gum disease, such as bleeding and bad breath, identified and treated early can avoid future pain and loss of teeth. Likewise, cavities identified and treated early can avoid future pain, need of root canal treatment or extractions.

At these check-up visits our Team at Cannon Hill Smiles will answer any questions and if required demonstrate proper brushing and flossing techniques. Following these check-up appointments, and if required, a detailed treatment plan with associated costs will be given to our patients.

Firstly, if you are with a private healthfund, you can have peace of mind by knowing that all you and your family’s checkup, cleans and x-rays are completely covered and you do not have to pay a single thing out of pocket, every six months. Secondly, we ensure that ALL COSTS are discussed BEFOREHAND so you do not have any nasty surprises whatsoever. Our dentists have been trained to ensure patients are fully informed not just about their treatment, but all costs associated with it.

Thirdly, we offer many different treatment options to suit most budgets. We can also spread treatment out and stage treatment so that the most important and urgent care is done sooner and other less urgent treatment is done when your budget allows it.

Healthfund provider networks

We have also been awarded as a network provider dentist with all major healthfunds and for you, this means that we offer treatment at much better prices than our competitors and because your healthfund has approved us, they will also pay much better rebates for dental care with us. This ensures that your out of pocket cost is kept to the minimum possible and the savings are big!

We are the only Bupa Member’s First Dentist in the suburb area. We are also the only Medibank Private Member’s Choice Dentist. We are also preferred providers for HCF, CBHS, Teachers Union Health. We also see patients under the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA) dental programme and if you have a DVA gold card, your treatment is completely covered.
