Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Family Planning, Preventative Health Dr Anjana De Almeida completed her medical degree in 2001 at the University of Otago (NZ). Her academic and clinical excellence is evident from the number of awards she received in her final year at medical school, including awards for obstetrics and gynaecology, General Practice, Clinical Medicine and Overall Excellence in the clinical years. Anjana worked in several tertiary hospitals and then went on to complete a Diploma of Paediatrics at the University of Auckland before embarking on a career in General Practice. She has over 10 years' experience working as a GP. She has a wide range of experience in all aspects of a General Practice with special interest in Paediatrics care from new-born to adolescents, gynaecology, family planning and contraception, preventative health and screening, mental health, chronic disease and complex medical issues.

​Anjana enjoys all aspects of general Practice. She loves the continuity of care and the opportunity to make a real difference in primary care. she feels that being a GP is a true privilege. Working Mondays, Wednesdays and fridays.
