After a brief hiatus in Queensland to complete my degree, I'm back in Canberra again, and to be honest nothing truly changes. The same warm and social people who prioritise their health have continued to flourish here in the nation's capital. It's always amazing to meet new people who share the same outlook on life, and then take care of them in the dental chair.

As a dentist, I exercise a great interest in the cosmetic aspect of dentistry and aim to cure one's pain and restore and maintain a healthy smile.

The services we can provide include:

• Examination of your teeth, gums and mouth.
• X-ray films may be taken to aid examination and diagnosis.
• Scale and prophylaxis ("cleaning").
• Fissure sealants - to protect teeth surfaces from decay.
• Restoration of teeth - including:
  • "fillings" to repair decayed and broken teeth
  • crowns ("caps") to make fragile teeth more durable.
• Root canal treatment to save infected teeth.
• Extractions (tooth removal).
• We can replace missing teeth - depending on each case - with
  • dentures
  • bridges
  • implants.
• We can improve the appearance of teeth with
  • bleaching - including "Zoom" (in-office) whitening.
  • veneers (covering front surface of teeth).
• Mouthguards to protect teeth during sporting activity.
• Occlusal ("bite") splints to prevent wear and damage of teeth for people who grind or clench their teeth.

We refer patients to fellow colleagues, including specialists such as orthodontists ("braces") and oral maxillo-facial surgeons (e.g.wisdom teeth removal) when more expertise is required for certain cases.
