Dr Florin-Tibi Rupa has enjoyed a varied career across Romania, Canada and Australia. He completed his studies to become a medical doctor at Carol Davila University in Bucharest, Romania in 1989 and completed further studies in Family Medicine at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada in 2006. He spent nine years working in general practice in Romania and eight years working in family medicine in Canada as well as five years in emergency medicine and five years as a nursing home consultant also in Canada. Florin-Tibi then moved to Australia where he has been practicing as a GP since 2011. His special interests include men's and women's health, occupational health, travel medicine, autoimmune disease, cardiology, mental health, paediatrics and alternative medicine.
