I have over 10 years experience in general practice. I have worked in different fields such as general medicine, general surgery and antenatal care, this included volunteer medical work in the rural areas of Sri Lanka. Worked in Child Health from Westmead Hospital in Sydney.

I also have a passion for languages and am fluent in English, Sinhalese, Hindi, Urdu and Arabic. My main areas of interest are preventative health, reproductive health, chronic diseases and geriatric medicine.
