As a General Practitioner of more than 30 years, Dr Medhat Magar is particularly passionate about skin cancer medicine, in particular early skin cancer detection.

Dr Magar has completed additional education in skin cancer management and has attained his accreditation with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. His main interest is Melanoma and tissue conserving surgery that does not compromise cure.

Medhat provides comprehensive skin assessments which includes a diagnosis aided by dermoscopy and, when necessary, a biopsy which can usually be done instantly. If a skin cancer (or other spot of concern) is found, he is highly experienced and skilled in the surgical removal of skin lesions and cancers.
