Seema graduated with Honours from Monarsh University. She decided to pursue a career in general practice because it was the only speciality in which a doctor can build up a long-term relationship with patients and their families as well as offering great diversity. Subsequently, she completed her general fellowship degree and she also holds a diploma in obstetrics. Although born in India, she grew up in Canada and has lived in Australia since the age of 15. She has many years of experience as a general practitioner and is passionate about providing comprehensive medical care to her patients. Her particular medical interests include preventative care, women’s health, shared care obstetrics and paediatrics. Seema speaks some Hindi. Outside of work she loves to travel, garden, bake, attend zumba classes and spend time with her young son, family and friends. Seema consults on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
