Dr Sudeshna Deb Barman moved to Bendigo in 2016 from Tamworth NSW where she was a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.

Her career as an obstetrician and gynaecologist spans over three decades spread over Australia and overseas in Delhi and Fiji. In addition, she also held the position of Medical Superintendent in Red Cross Hospital in Delhi.

Dr Barman takes a keen interest in teaching and held academic positions both overseas and Australia such as Senior lecturer in University of New England and Newcastle University and Conjoint Professor in Indian College of Maternal and Child health.

She believes in holistic approach and personalized care in the management of Gynaecological conditions encompassing:

• Gynaecology
• Abnormal uterine bleeding
• Polycystic ovarian disease
• Pelvic floor dysfunction
