Dr Venkatesh has been living and working in Australia since 2015. He moved to Cairns in 2017 having worked in Victoria for 2 years

Prior to his move to Australia he was working as a GP in UK for 7 years Originally from India, he obtained his medical degree in India. In 1999 he moved to UK and undertook postgraduate training in Paediatrics (child health ) and worked as a Paediatrician for 5 years ( during this time he obtained membership of the Royal college of paediatrics and child health).

Subsequently he moved on to be trained in General Practice in Wales and obtained his second postgraduate membership with the royal college in UK

He is married with two children and enjoys classical music and spending time with family and friends.

He believes in patient-centred , holistic, non-judgemental ,empathetic health care.
