Rumana Jahan is a Principal Migration Agent. She is also an Australian Legal Practitioner and Registered Migration Agent in SMP Legal and SR Migration & Education Services. She has been working with SRMES since June 2013. She worked as a trainee lawyer with Rigby Cooke Lawyers, Melbourne. She assisted in research and litigation matters to senior lawyers in here. After this, she joined in KordaMentha where she worked as a legal researcher. KordaMentha is one of the biggest advisory firm specialising in Corporate Recovery, Turnaround and Restructuring, Real Estate advisory and Forensic services. She also worked with Allens which is an international law firm with offices throughout Australia and Asia. She has also worked with TWG Ghothane as a Migration Lawyer. TWG GHOTHANE has been in operation as a migration consulting firm. Rumana has also worked as a volunteer in Public Interest Law Clearing House (VIC) and Western Suburbs Legal Service. Currently she is a principal migration consultant and lawyer in SR Migration & Education Services and at the same time she is volunteering as a Solicitor and Migration Consultant in Refugee & Immigration Legal Centre, Melbourne as well. ?Rumana has done her Bachelor of Laws from Latrobe University, Melbourne, Australia. She has also completed Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Leo Cussen in Melbourne. ?

Pervez Rahman is the principal solicitor of SMP Legal. He is also a Registered Migration agent.

Pervez has over five years of experience working in legal practices including at large national law firms where he acted for a range of large banking and financial services organisations and corporate clients. He provided legal advice across issues relating to business and consumer lending, mortgages, security reviews, fraud and forgeries, breach of contract and general litigation and dispute resolution matters. He has also acted for insolvency practitioners, individuals facing bankruptcy action as well as businesses facing insolvency. He has extensive experience dealing with businesses and individuals facing financial hardship or are facing recovery action from credit providers.

Pervez also has over seven years of experience in the Banking and Finance sector working for one of Australia’s largest banks. He worked in the areas of Dispute Resolution, Risk Management, Compliance, Credit Management, Turnaround Management, Project Management and Relationship Management.

As a registered migration agent with the office of the MARA, he is able to assist clients who are looking to migrate to or visit Australia as well as those who are looking to settle in Australia permanently.

Pervez has strong ties with the local Bangladeshi community and is fluent in Bengali.

Pervez spends most of his spare time either playing or watching sports. Whilst he has given most sports a go at some stage, he is currently hooked on Golf and Badminton. He is also a keen follower of Cricket and Soccer as well as Aussie Rule.

When he is not playing Golf or Badminton, he also spends time with his wife and young daughter Sahara.?

Nurul Khan is also Australian Legal Practitioner and Qualified Education Agent Counsellor in SMP Legal and SR Migration & Education Services. Nurul has completed his Bachelor of Laws from Latrobe University, Melbourne, Australia.  He has done his Bachelor of Business (Major in Law & Accounting) from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. He has also done his LL.B (Hons) and LL.M from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Currently he has finished his LL.B from Latrobe University. After finishing his graduation from Monash, he joined with Commonwealth Bank of Australia where he worked for three years in home loan mortgage documents verification team and home loan security verification team. He worked as a Judicial Officer in the Judiciary Department of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh. Lastly he worked as a Judge in a District court of Bangladesh.

?Rashidur  Rahman (Rash) is IT consultant in SRMES. Rashidur has an extensive experience and skills in the ICT industry. He has high level technical and project management skills. His strengths lie in his ability to identify and find solutions to ICT related problems, and he is able to quickly learn new technologies and skills on the job. He has high level communication and interpersonal skills, and can translate technical language to be understood at all levels.

He has experience in dealing with complex issues and customer expectations, as well as project-based requirements and delivery. He shows collaborative and inclusive teamwork skills, shows leadership when required, and can plan, schedule and implement tasks, as well as delegate and monitor their completion. He has performed in many roles providing network and infrastructure support both directly and as the account manager. The combination of his technical skills with his ability to foster and maintain productive working relationships will make him an asset within organisation.
