Our History

In 1986, Mr Pritam Chugha, the Managing Director, recognised the under supply in the Australian local food industry of grocery products from the sub-continent. This called for the establishment of SURAJ International Products (Australia) Pty Ltd to cater for the needs of households, restaurants, grocery stores, other wholesalers and supermarkets. Due to the dedication towards supreme quality, competitive pricing and customer satisfaction, which rewarded the business with customer loyalty and demand, SURAJ has become a popular choice.

SURAJ Continental Flour Mills was established for the milling of specialty stone ground and polished flour, which has become significantly popular, especially amongst the bakery and food industries. The finest Australian produce is milled to produce natural flour high in nutritional value and is superb for health and fitness.Similarly, SURAJ Spice Mills was established to cater for fresh spices and masalas.

Please note that SURAJ offers packaging in various sizes, be it bulk, shelf packaging or hang cell packaging. Most of our packaged products have EAN registration (bar codes) to facilitate businesses that use scanning technology.
