Knox Heritage Tree count and Forum in Melbourne, 19th July 2017
The event will be about the preservation of significant trees in Knox and their significant to the health and wellbeing of people and local wildlife..
We will have expert speakers on the night Dr.Greg Moore OAM speaking about the National Trusts Significant Trees Register and Mr. James Shugg Arborist from the Royal Botanic Gardens speaking on the importance of large old trees in the landscape and Arborists and Ecologists Grant Harris on the importance of large trees as stepping stones for local wildlife such as Yellow Tailed-Black Cockatoos and Sugar Gliders.
The event is FREE! and Supported by the Knox Environment Society and National Trust of Victoria.
