Make Changes

Home is where the heart is.

Whether you’re local or a tourist, Newtown feels like home. Our festival welcomes the world to our world and shows off what’s so special about our beloved suburb.

We invite you to join us on Sunday 12 November, 2017 to celebrate Newtown’s uniqueness, vibrancy and accepting community – supporting individuals who need support and creating a sense of harmony in the area.

Now in it’s 39th year, Newtown Festival is produced by Newtown Neighbourhood Centre (NNC) as its major fundraiser. The Festival generates funds and awareness to enable the Centre to provide frontline services for those doing it most tough in the Inner West.

The 2017 Festival will once again feature music, Writers Tent, Eco Zone, Kids’ Zone, Newtown Locals, Sassy Treats’ Dog Show and close to 300 stalls selling food, beverages, arts and crafts, fashion, bespoke products and more!

Entry to the festival is an expected contribution of $5.00 per person (cash or pay pass at entry). Please give generously, your big heart will help someone in our community access housing, combat isolation and stay connected or simply have support as they get older or hit a rough patch in life.

Help make Newtown Festival the biggest and best festival for social change in Australia. See you on 12 November!
