A Vela Unvelum | Architecture

A Vela Unvelum is a design driven architectural practice based in Sydney Australia. The practice explores ecologically inspired architectural ideas with a focus on developing an architecture that encourages a relationship between people and nature.

Our architecture strives to be sculptural and endearing, beautifully assembled and arranged and enriched with tactility and texture. Each project is bespoke and uniquely bound to its site with every space specifically detailed to not only sustain the desired lifestyles of our clients but to also enhance their daily experience through explicit interactions with the natural world.

The practice is led by Ross Serrano who has obtained a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture degree from The University of New South Wales. Ross is a registered architect in New South Wales and has an extensive background in construction to which he is accredited with a Certificate IV in Building and Construction by The Housing Industry Association. The combination of Ross' training in architecture and his on-site experience in construction provides the practice with the capability to not only design bespoke buildings but to also examine the effectiveness and buildability of each project.

A Vela Unvelum work on various architectural typologies and primarily focuses on residential architecture. We offer a range of architectural services including concept and masterplan design, sketch and schematic design, design development, tender and construction documentation and contract administration.
