Our Dentists

Dr. Gurwinder Kaur (Principal Dentist)

Dr Gurwinder has been practising dentistry for 7 years . She is member of Australian Dental Association.

She has a passion for her job and thoroughly enjoys the interaction with her patients, of all ages from young children providing an orientation programme to make coming to the dentist a positive experience to the elderly patients as well as the technical aspect of being a dentist. She is focussed on her commitment to providing minimally invasive and pain-free dentistry and she is dedicated to comprehensive treatment planning to ensure her patients experience the best of both the functional and aesthetic aspects of dentistry. She has specific interest in Cosmetic Dentistry performing Complete Smile Makeovers, Smile Design, Full mouth rehabs for crown and Bridge Work, Porcelain Veneers, Orthodontics.

She loves to create natural, beautiful and captivating smiles with aesthetic minimally invasive veneers, restorations, crowns. She feels proud in having an aesthetic eye with gentle and skillful hands. Her goal for patients is to provide the best dental treatment in a comfortable environment.Her strengths are patience, attention to detail and her gentle and caring nature. She has a passion.

She is member of Progressive Orthodontics and a qualified Invisalign provider.

A highly dedicated dentist and regular participant in Continuing Professional Development. She has completed a prime speak seminar in 2013 as well as many other seminars.

Outside of Dentistry, Gurwinder’s hobbies and interests are music and singing and she has started her singing career by releasing music video in Nov 2015.

Janine Cooper

All Smiles pleased to introduce Janine cooper, its practice manager. Janine joined All Smiles in February 2015.

Janine commenced her dental nursing career by joining Dr. John Uren, a general dentist, 1989 just after completing her VCE. During her service attachment with the general dentist for seven plus years she successfully completed ADA certificate in dental assisting as well as ADECA certificate. In this career she also learnt not only dental nursing but developed as a person to handle patients with her admirable public relations skills and working very closely with other staff members and learned the skill of team playing. Her ever learning attitude enabled her to compete courses on HIV education programme, Level 2 first aid, front desk and reception management and sterilizing techniques.

Thereafter Janine decided to expand her career in dental assisting and spent two plus years with Dr. Allan Pollard and associates in an Orthodontic Clinic. This involvement have ample opportunity for Janine to work a lot faster pace with 5 orthodontists, 2 hygienists and a staff of 25 members. Further she learnt to see children and had a lot more one on one contact with the patients and patient education including tooth brushing, flossing and oral hygiene instructions. Her contribution towards designing and settling up two new surgeries was appreciated by the associate partners and they encouraged her to take up more responsibilities. since then she was involved in helping to design a practical and efficient working sterllising room as well as stock control meeting with dental representatives making sure they was enough stock for opening. Once again her learning attitude made her to compete 4 day orthodontic conference. Let’s get out there (New age orthodontics), and wires, wires and more wires.

After nearly ten years in dental assisting Janine joined her husband who had a furniture store. She the gradually built the business up and expanded to have 3 stores with thirty staff members. During this time she was mainly responsible for staff, rosters, ordering stock, banking customer service, problem solving, delivery rosters, visual merchandising and general day to day running of the stores. The business environment was conductive enough for her to short complete courses on diploma in retail management, Level2 first aid and Managing time.

With these sound backgrounds, Janine joined “A Better Dental Care” as a dental assistant within weeks of opening “A Better Dental Care” in March 2005. Whilst there she built up relationships with patients coming in and ensure they receive maximum care and follow up procedures appropriately followed. She also involved in training new staff, ordering stock, rosters and daily running, of the practice both in surgery and reception area. In March 2005 Janine updated her First Aid and Infection Control, the completed her certificate IV in Practice Management Course which she just completed in 2008.

She has since completed courses in Prime Speak, Somnomed Treatment co-ordination and Diploma in Practice Management.
