Lessons

Learn from experienced experts with personal attention.

We conduct lessons in small groups of 3 to 5 students with affordable fees ($20 per lesson) so that teaching can be customised to student's capabilities. Advanced one-on-one lessons are also available at reasonable fees ($40 per lesson). 

Being experienced, we have a deep understanding of music teaching methodolgy to expedite student learning. Groups are organised as per levels of curriculum of "Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya" and "Brihad Gujarat Sangeet Samiti".

About

Anahat Music is a nurturer of Indian Classical Music. We are an institution that is 30 years young teaching this precious aspect of our cultural heritage to current generation.

It was started by Shrimati Shalini Jagtap and Shri Gnyaneshwar Jagtap in Baroda, Gujarat, India as a musical heritage passed on from generations in Jagtap family in Guru-Shishya parampara. Since then, hundreds of students have graduated from Anahat Music following the curriculum of Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalay  and Brihad Gujarat Sangeet Samiti.

Currently, this tradition is followed in Australia by their son Shri Hitendra Jagtap (B.Music in Sitar, Maharaja Sayajirao University and Sangeet Visharad in Vocal, Tabla) and Shrimati Yashashree Jagtap (Sangeet Visharad in Vocal and Harmonium). We are enduring to spread this knowledge to inquisite aspirants who want to embrace this wonderful art.
