Bhakti Night in Melbourne, 12th August 2017

A night of chanting, singing, meditation, knowledge and fun! Kirtan will be led by the band Channel Om

Kirtan songs are ancient Sanskrit mantras sung in reverence to the different qualities of the Divine which reside within each one of us.

It is said that when we chant mantras, these divine qualities such as love, joy, peace and strength become amplified within us and old patterns which are not our true nature are diminished.

Kirtan is traditionally an interactive and all inclusive experience where everyone sings along. The chants are simple, repetitive and easy to follow allowing people to get lost in a meditative state as they sing.

If you are able, please bring a plate of yumminess to share in a potluck feast post Kirtan.
