BAM is a Melbourne based Bhangra academy and competitive team.

Bhangra is the traditional dance of the Punjab region in South Asia. A highly energetic style of dance, it is growing in popularity in Australia and a number of teams have risen up in recent years.

An academy is a place of learning and advancement of knowledge. Keeping with this theme, academies are also places that value integrity, respect, effort, and diversity. The Bhangra Academy of Melbourne is a team that has these values at its core.

We are a group that are working to establish multiple teams (Juniors, Mixed, Men’s, Women’s) in response to the interest so widely expressed in the community. Each of these teams will operate with the core values mentioned above at heart.
