Dr Renu Karn (BDS) Adelaide, Principal Dentist

Dr Renu Karn graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1999 with Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She has also achieved accreditation in a number of areas including Implant Dentistry from the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry in 2009 and Periodontology from the Institute of Laser Dentistry, California. She has more than 15 years of experience in General Dentistry.

Dr Karn is an exceptionally competent clinician and loves all aspects of Dentistry. Dr Karn has a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, Periodontal Treatments, Dental Implant Surgery, Cfast (Cosmetically Focussed Adult Straight Teeth), CEREC (Ceramic White Fillings), Crowns, Veneers, and PST (Pinhole Gum Surgery).

Dr Renu Karn is deeply committed to ensuring that her patients receive the best possible treatment and service and strives every day to set a new Standard of Care at Dental Excellence.

Dr Karn is especially gifted in relaxing patients, including children.

What you can expect?

When you first arrive at Dental Excellence, you might be forgiven for thinking you’ve entered the wrong suite of offices and discovered a day spa. That’s because we’ve invested much time and effort into making the Dental Excellence experience one far removed from traditional dentistry.

A visit to the dentist makes many people fearful or anxious, which is why we’ve designed our space to help you feel calm and relaxed. Our fitout evokes freshness and tranquillity. Special essential oils are used to relax the senses; taking the ‘clinical’ out of going to the dentist.

And if you choose to completely switch off, you may decide to listen to music or select a DVD from our selection of movies. Or of course, you are welcome to bring your own. If you’re looking for a dental experience beyond the everyday, we invite you to experience the Dental Excellence difference.
