DR AJAY KUMAR MBBS (Hons), FACD @ Sydney Dermatology Group

Dr Kumar completed his dermatology fellowship, leading to FACD in 2001, after undergoing training at Liverpool, St Vincent’s, Prince of Wales as well as Concord Hospitals. This was preceded by a research year at the Skin and Cancer Foundation at Darlinghurst, under Professor Steven Kossard.

Prior to this he trained and qualified as a dermatologist in India leading to an MD. For his academic excellence, Dr Kumar was selected for the National Science Talent Award, awarded to the top 100 science students in India.

He has published numerous dermatology articles in Australian and international journals and given presentations at multiple dermatology conferences.

Outside of practising general dermatology, Dr Kumar’s hobbies include traveling and tennis.
