Dr Akash Roopnarinesingh is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London and a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He has a wide range of experience in general obstetrics and gynaecology.

He also operates out of the Mater Clinic at Yeppoon every third Saturday of the month. He has admitting rights at The Mater Hospital Rockhampton and Yeppoon, The Hillcrest Hospital and The Rockhampton Base Hospital. In addition, patients with pelvic floor disorders including urinary incontinence can benefit from treatment on the Wave Brilliance therapeutic chair.Dr Roopnarinesingh is the current editor of the third edition of the Textbook of Obstetrics.
