Aly completed all of his medical training in the UK. He went to the University of Leeds which at the time was affiliated with the largest teaching hospitals in Europe. He graduated in the first quartile. He then moved to London where he completed his postgraduate training in General Practice/Family Medicine. Aly worked in various specialties including Vascular Surgery, Endocrine Surgery, General Surgery, Respiratory Medicine, Psychiatry, High Dependency Unit/ICU, Geriatrics, Acute Medicine, Dermatology, Obstetrics/Gynaeocology and Rehabilitation Medicine. He moved to Perth in 2015 with his family. He enjoys all aspects of medicine/minor surgery and also completed further training in skin cancer.
