Dr Govind Kotha is a very experienced Australian trained vocationally registered (VR) general practitioner with FRACGP qualification. Canberra has been his home for the last 8 years and he has worked in both Canberra and Goulborn in a number of general practices. He has also worked in UK and India both in Community and Hospital departments including Accident and Emergency, Surgical, Medical and all GP related specialties. With these skills he is well placed to provide the best care to his patients and the knowledge to run a general practice to the highest of standards.

He has a post graduation qualification in ENT surgery from India and also a Diploma in Child health (DCH) from Sydney University/Westmead Children Hospital.

He can easily handle all your general practice related illnesses including acute and chronic problems. His area of interests are paediatrics, chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, obesity, cardiac and respiratory disease), dermatology, mental health and women’s health.

He is also working as Medical officer for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and also trained in HMAS Penguin in under water medicine so he is qualified and recognized as a DIVING Medical doctor for both defence and civilian personnel.
