Specialising in pregnancy (antenatal) and paediatrics (children) , Dr Ranasinghe enjoys all aspects of medical care. After graduating from Sri Lanka’s University of Colombo in 2005, Horsham medical practitioner Dr Jagath Ranasinghe worked at hospitals in Horana and Badulla, gaining extensive experience in obstetrics and orthopaedics. Immigrating to Australia in late 2010, he worked in Swan Hill and Dubbo Base Hospital before commencing as a first year GP registrar at Lister House Medical Clinic in 2016. Dr Ranasinghe has now completed all his training and has obtained his GP fellowship in 2018, and now calls Horsham home. Dr Ranasinghe has a special interest in paediatrics and obstetrics ( including deliveries of babies at Wimmera Base Hospital). He also specialises in family planning and can also assist you with either Mirena or Implanon insertion and removal.
