Dr Leena Uppal - Kalamunda

Dr Leena Uppal is an ‘all-rounder’ GP. She is interested in and fascinated by- all aspects of family medicine and has a special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine. She is always looking for ways to improve her knowledge and your patient experience. She has been practicing as a Family Doctor in Perth since 2011 but moved up to the Perth Hills in January 2018 and has been with the Mead Medical Group since July 2018. Prior to moving up to the Perth Hills Leena Uppal has worked both south and north of the river in Perth. She began practicing medicine in England in 2002 after completing her basic medical training. After completing her post graduate medical training in various different specialties including General Medicine and Surgery and Emergency Medicine and Psychiatry and Paediatrics, including gaining a Diploma in Child Health, she became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2008. In 2009 and 2010 Leena undertook training in Facial Aesthetic Procedures in London. In 2010 Dr Uppal and her husband relocated briefly to Cyprus where she worked a s a civilian GP working for the UK Ministry of Defense helping to look after the families and enlisted men and women of the UK Army and Air Force. Leena and her family moved to Perth WA in 2011 and have made the hills their home recently. When not working Leena Uppal enjoys exploring the Perth Hills and looking after their horses and goats as well as the exciting, emerging food and arts scene in Perth.
