Dr. Luckmini Jayasinghe is a dedicated General Practitioner at our clinic. She graduated from the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka with her Medical degree in 2006. Before migrating to Australia, Dr. Jayasinghe worked for several years in Sri Lanka in both rural and city areas. She had a broad range of experiences in many different specialties of medicine to build the foundations of her knowledge.

She worked at a teaching hospital – Ragama in the General medicine and General surgical departments. She was a Senior Medical Officer in Intensive care and anesthesiology. She also completed the first exam in the postgraduate qualification for Anaesthesiology in 2011.

In addition to her hospital work, Dr. Jayasinghe worked as a General Practitioner from 2006 to 2011 in Sri Lanka.

Dr. Jayasinghe worked as a Carrier Medical Officer in Emergency departments of Campbelltown Hospital and Fairfield Hospital in Sydney for 3 years. She has experience as a carrier Medical officer in psychiatry in mental health Unit at Campbelltown hospital.

She started her work as a General Practitioner in Australia since 2015. She completed her DCH (diploma in child health) at the University of Sydney in 2016. She really enjoys the variety and ongoing care in General Practice. Her areas of special interest are General medical conditions, Women’s Health, mental health, and Geriatrics.

Dr. Jayasinghe can speak English, Singhala and she consults Full time at our clinic.
