Dr Mayur Garg Gastroenterologist Melbourne

Dr Mayur Garg is a staff specialist in Gastroenterology at Eastern Health and Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University.

He has trained in gastroenterology and hepatology at several leading Melbourne hospitals, and completed a PhD investigating the roles of the renin-angiotensin system and vitamin D in IBD.

He was awarded the St Mark’s Hospital-Gastroenterological Society of Australia Endoscopy Fellowship, and European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation IBD Fellowship, both of which he undertook at St Mark’s Hospital in London in 2014-2015.

He has a wide variety of clinical and research interests in luminal gastroenterology, especially IBD and endoscopy.
