Dr Mehdi Monfared for more than 14 years has worked in GP and emergency settings, across different states in Australia. He was awarded his GP fellowship in 2017 and his Emergency Medicine subspecialty in 2016 from the Royal Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.

Dr Monfared holds an Advanced Certificate for Dermoscopy and a Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. He is also an accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. He also does cosmetic work including cosmetic injectables (Botulinum Toxin A) and dermal fillers as well as facial contouring and medical rhinoplasty.

He also holds a Diploma in Children’s Health from the University of Sydney in 2014 and has completed a scholarship program with the NSW Health and Education and Training Institute (HETI) in Clinical Team Leadership Program (CTLP) in 2015. He helps his patients with in skin cancers (including melanoma), mental health issues, Chronic diseases eg Asthma, COPD, and Diabetes, Emergency Medicine, paediatrics, and also looks after orthopaedic and trauma patients, holistic Medicine, diabetes, osteoarthritis, asthma and COPD, orthopaedics, trauma and work injuries, as well as mental health. He is also very confident in managing work-place injuries and performing pre-employment medicals and has extensive knowledge of how to manage skin lesions, skin cancers and melanomas.
