Dr Akram Jabbar has over 19 years of working experience in General Practice. Before moving to Australia he worked in the Sultanate of Oman and Sri Lanka. He completed his undergraduate studies and obtained his MBBS in Sri Lanka. He continued postgraduate studies and obtained the following qualifications: FRACGP from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, MRCGP (INT) from the Royal College of General Practitioners-UK, Fellowship in Diabetes from the Medvasity and Apollo Hospital Educational and Research Foundation-India and the Diploma in General Dermatology from Bond University-Australia.
