Dr Mohan Kulatunga is one of the Private GP obstetricians at Lister House.

Mohan graduated from the North Colombo Medical College Sri Lanka and completed his internship and post intern appointments in Sri Lanka. He worked in the obstetric unit of North Colombo Teaching Hospital before he arrived in Australia.

Mohan joined the Obstetrics and Gynaecology team at GV Health in June 2004 and worked at GV Health for the next 7 years, completing rotations in all other major medical and surgical disciplines. He worked as the Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology for 3 years at GV Health, and gained further experience and skills in normal and caesarean deliveries. He obtained an Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics from RANZCOG in 2010.

Dr Kulatunga joined Lister House in May 2011 and completed his FRACGP fellowship in 2014.

His specialty is GP Obstetrics and women’s health, providing quality antenatal care for both private and public antenatal / shared care patients. He conducts normal and caesarean deliveries of his private patients at Goulburn Valley Health. He holds admitting rights to Goulburn Valley Health and Shepparton Private Hospital where he continues care of patients in the postnatal wards.

Besides Obstetrics he is proficient in all aspects of adult and paediatric general medicine and mental health.
