Dr Murali Thiruvengadam

Dr Murali Thiruvengadam is the Principal GP and Director of the Practice. Fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. He can also converse in Malayalam. He is currently a Conjoint Lecturer at Western Sydney University. He is passionate in teaching medical and nursing students.

Dr Murali Thiruvengadam obtained his Medical Degree from Dr M G R Medical University, Chennai in 2000. He went to the United Kingdom to pursue further postgraduate training and has subsequently worked in various specialities including Geriatrics, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Rehabilitation, Acute Medicine and General Surgery.

He moved to Australia and continued his training initially at Ryde Hospital and transferred to Westmead hospital where he gained experience in several medical and surgical specialities. He also underwent training in Paediatric Emergency at The Children’s Hospital, Westmead. He subsequently joined the Australian General Practice Training Programme and obtained postgraduate degree in General Practice from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
