Dr Narisha Chawla

Dr Narisha Chawla is a registered specialist in Paediatric Dentistry with particular interest in the management of anxious children and children on the autism spectrum.  She strongly believes in the whole child approach, and ensures that children and parents feel supported and respected while under her care.

Narisha graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) in 2004. She then completed the Primary Examination of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons before going on to receive a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Paediatric Dentistry in 2009.  In addition to her time in private practice, Narisha is a Consultant Paediatric Dentist at the Royal Children’s Hospital where she cares for medically-complex patients and supervises postgraduate students.  Narisha is also a lecturer at the University of Melbourne.

Narisha has been a part of many volunteer projects, but it was her time with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Broken Hill in 2004 that sparked her love of small planes. Narisha dreams of being a flying dentist one day and plans to continue with her pilot lessons when her two beautiful children are older (and understand the value of sleep!).  In her free time, Narisha enjoys travelling with husband and children, and admits to having watched way too many episodes of Bluey.
