Dr Param Paramsothy

Dr Param Paramsothy has been practicing as a GP for 30 years. He has gained a wealth of experience in a varied medical career, graduating from the University of Ceylon, Sri Lanka in 1974. He spent the next six years working in Ceylon as an intern, in rural practice and in a clinic setting. He moved to the UK where he completed his post graduate training in general practice and worked as a GP for two years. Param relocated to Australia in 1988 where he has practiced as a GP since, and joined the Wentworthville Medical & Dental Centre in 2008. Param's special interests include cardiology, respiratory medicine and mental health. In his own time, he enjoys reading and travelling.
