Dr Salma Hanif

Dr Hanif completed her MBBS in 2009 in beautiful Fiji.
She then completed an internship working at both major hospitals on Viti Levu (mainland): the Colonial War Memorial Hospital (CWM) in Suva and the Western Division's Lautoka Hospital.
After her internship she worked for the Ministry of Health for three years, at Nadi Hospital and multiple health centres within Suva subdivision.
She then spent three years as an in-house GP at Suva Private Hospital before travelling to Australia.
Her love of nature, travelling and exploring (especially chasing waterfalls) took her to Tasmania in Febuary 2017. There, she worked as an Emergency Registrar in the Northwest Coast in Burnie (city by the sea).
Based at Ochre Medical Centre Boggabri, she is now enrolled in a GP fellowship program.
Salma enjoys a good read and baking when time permits.
