Dr Sumathy Krishnaswamy migrated from India 30 years ago after obtaining a postgraduate diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Having gained 10 years experience in Psychiatry she has been a General Practitioner for the last 20 years.

Dr Krishnaswamy has been a General Practitioner in Melbourne for 40 years. She has worked in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Psychiatry for 5 years prior to commencing General Practice. She has a special interest in Women’s health particularly menopause and shared care with major hospitals – Mercy in Heidelberg and Box Hill Hospital.

Her other interests include Travel Medicine, as she is a keen traveller herself, Asthma and Mental Health.
