Dr Swetha Thakkar graduated from Manipal University in 2006. Since migrating to Australia in 2009, she has enjoyed working at Nepean Hospital. Along with her overseas experience she has worked in different subspecialties within Paediatrics including NICU, Allergy, Behavioural Paediatrics and General Paediatrics for 5 years. She has had the opportunity to work as an SRMO rotating through different specialities and learning about Indeginous health at Royal Darwin hospital. She enjoy all aspects of general practice with particular interest in Women and Children’s health.

Outside of work, Swetha's interests include spending time with her 2 children, reading novels and playing the piano and violin .
