Dr Vidya Murugiah bulk bills all patients.

Vidya joined us from Sydney in early Feb 2020. Having studied Medicine in Melaka Manipal, she then worked as a hospital doctor in Malaysia for 4 years with 2 years in Ears Nose and Throat surgery. Vidya entered rural General Practice in Wadalba NSW for 18 months. She has decided to come to Broken Hill to commence her General Practice training at Nachiappans for the next 12 months.

After hours she enjoys playing with her young daughter and visiting places of interest around Broken Hill. She especially enjoys the lack of traffic after coming here from Sydney and the ease with which she can find parking spots!

She is happy to assist with all GP health issues for existing Nachiappans patients and new patients.

She has a special interest in women’s health and minor surgery.
