John Vijay Dr

Vijay graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1997. He completed a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry in 2001 specialising in the disciplines of Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry. His ongoing interest in Endodontics led him to complete his Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry at the University of Melbourne in 2006.  Vijay has been the recipient of various awards during his undergraduate and postgraduate training. He has also been involved in research and has authored multiple journal articles. 

Vijay is presently in full-time specialist endodontic practice. He is a member of the Australian Society of Endodontology, Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists, and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.  Vijay has served as past president of the Australian Society of Endodontology (Vic Branch) and continues to serve as a committee member.  He has been involved in teaching at the University of Melbourne in both the undergraduate and postgraduate training programmes. He has a special interest in endodontic education and contemporary endodontic philosophies and techniques. Vijay has lectured nationally and continues to be actively involved in teaching at various Continuing Professional Development programmes.   

Outside his professional activities, Vijay enjoys spending time with his wife and two children (and the occasional game of golf!).
