Dr. Bhat completed her MBBS from Manipal University, India in 2007 and after a short tenure of working in different multi specialty hospitals , she came to Australia. After completing Internship from Mildura base hospital , she transitioned into General Practice in 2014 and subsequently completed her fellowship in General Practice (FRACGP) in 2019. She has the distinction of working in remote indigenous society in rural NSW for a period of 4 years.

Her personal interests includes South Indian Classical Dance (Bharatanatyam) and frequently does public performances in Adelaide. She also enjoys cooking, travelling to explore new places and Yoga. She is a fun loving and happy go lucky person.
