Fiji Girmit Divas 2018 in Sydney, 28th April

Sharing with you introductory poster for our forthcoming Commemoration of Global Girmit Abolition and Fiji Girmit Divas 2018. This is already shaping into a great event.

The first ever Conference to be held NSW on Girmit Heritage and the NSW Descendants of Girmityas has a great line up of speakers who will present papers from 4.30 pm.

You will also get a chance to voice your opinions. A great lineup of very experienced and talented performers, mixed with several emerging young talents, will pay respect to the memories of the girmityas from 7.30 pm.

The organisers, Indian Diaspora Council of Australia and Goodday Bread for Life, would like to see many of you there to share this unique educational cultural and entertainment event.
