Guru Yoga Mandala Offering Retreat in Central Coast region , 15th-17th November 2017

This retreat is an opportunity to practise offering mandalas. In this practice, we imagine a pure & peaceful world beyond suffering and offer it to others to create special causes for such a world to arise.

The retreat is also a special method for making a connection with a Spiritual Guide and receiving their blessings.

Retreat
During retreat we reduce normal worldly activities, concentrating instead on developing spiritual qualities and peaceful minds – finding happiness from within.

Sessions
There are 3 guided sessions a day. We will provide an information sheet and diagram on how to offer a mandala. Each session consists of a teaching, prayers and silence for meditation and offering mandalas, either by imagination, or by creating rice representations. You are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions.

What do I need to bring for my mandala kit?
We have a couple of full kits here and also alternative ones for the purpose of this retreat. Otherwise, feel free to bring a 1kg bag of rice, a small-medium sized plate and a 80cm square piece of cloth to contain the plate and rice (the cloth also catches the rice as you are making your mandala offerings). Traditional (full) mandala kits will also be available to purchase in the shop if you wish.

Cost: $5 per session. Food: Refreshments provided / BYO veggie lunch.

If you are new to the practice, arrive 15 mins before a session starts & see the assistant.
