I am a Mauritian n I find all the Mauritian food sold at their shop in Dandee mkt very tasty delicious n affordable. Saomai is a Chinese product very popular in Mtius n they r always in perfect conditions. If u’ve never eaten it b4 u would find it weird
BTW it’s not an Indian delicacy. So don’t mix up things

I’m a loyal customer of one the shop in south east Melb..
I have purchased frozen octopus and among other things..
From lacas mama unfortunately I find the product has change a lot.
Especially the curry the packaging is poor condition.
The frozen Sao mai taste off and it’s just discusting..
I don’t know who is this karisha trading but they did something to make Mauritius food become off to the community..
