Kirtan for Kerala Fundraiser in Melbourne, 31st August 2018

Its been a little while since our last Kirtan .. but please come along to this Fundraiser for the Devastating Floods in Kerala .. at Kindred Studios on Friday Aug 31st .

The night will begin at 6:30pm with Chai and a Simple Dinner with Salad .. then commence with Kirtan around 7:30pm concluding at around 9pm .

There will be a variety of lead Kirtanists all donating their time and efforts .

For anyone that has ever been to India or benefited from its eternal teachings and generosity of spirit it’s a chance to give back .. with efforts , thoughts and prayers .. however small it all helps ..

The intention of the event is to enjoy the practice of Bhakti Yoga together and mindful prayer for peace and happiness within and without .

It’s open to all, both experienced and completely new participants and is an easy and enjoyable practice to be involved with and share with others, leaving you feeling open, clear and relaxed.

The practice of Bhakti Yoga or Kirtan has often been descibed as Meditation on auto pilot. It’s an opportunity to connect with oneself, others and the inner and outer worlds around and within us – harmonising ourselves in the process.

Please feel free to bring your own cushion also please free to bring a friend. We hope to see you there!

Tickets: $15, $10 concession
Dinner: $10 ( vegan with Dhal and Rice and Salad )
Chai and Cake $3 each .

All Proceeds going directly to Fund Flood Relief in Kerala , India Through MA Centre Australia Foundation ( Amma )
